for errors or omissions and reserves the right to make amendments at any time and

University of Lincoln in no way endorses the contents, views or information held

Privacy Policy
The University of Lincoln does not automatically capture and store any personal
information about the individuals who access its website or web pages. The University
does not send cookies from this website and will only count the number of 'hits'
to the website to determine which pages are visited most frequently. Any information
you choose to provide using online forms is not matched to your use of our web site
and your visits to our website are therefore totally anonymous.
A number of online forms are contained within these web pages which are provided
for your convenience only, eg to aid you in requesting a Prospectus, in applying
for information about, or attendance at, a University Open Day etc. When an online
form appears, you will be provided with information about how the data you provide
will be used by the University, any disclosures which may be made to a third party,
how long your information will be held etc. If you email us with a query the information
you provide to us will only be used to respond to your query and will then be deleted,
unless otherwise stated.
Where you choose to give us personal information it will only be used by the University
for the purpose for which you provided it. Only where you specify it will your information
be used to provide you with current and future information about the University
and courses available.
As permitted by the Telecommunications (Lawful Business Practice) (Interception
of Communications) Regulations 2000 and by the Regulation of Investigatory Powers
Act, the University may electronically scan any emails received for obscene, indecent
and illegal remarks and content. The University may also scan any messages left
in 'chat rooms', bulletin boards etc, provided on its Virtual Campus, website or
other computing facilities for similar material.
Where the University is convinced that there is proper lawful authority for the
interception of communications, our policy is to co-operate fully with the relevant
authorities. If, however, we are convinced that the authorities have exceeded their
powers either deliberately or by oversight, it is the policy of the University to
assist Data Subjects in any complaint to the proper regulatory authority.
The University's website provides automatic links (hyperlinks) to other third party
websites for your convenience. The University is not responsible for the privacy
practices or content of these sites. When you use links to other websites the University's
Privacy Policy no longer applies and you should refer to the privacy statement of
the website you are accessing for details of their privacy policy.
